RULESET
NO REDUXEs or /HAMMERIZATIONS
1
All maps and puzzles featured in your mod must be made specifically for the mod and must be entirely original - reduxes and hammerizations are not allowed. Mods found to be breaking this rule may receive point deductions.
CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR TEAM
2
All Team Leads and Members must contribute to the mod with the skillset they put on the application form. Leads/Members who feel a member is not following this rule may contact a staff member to discuss.
NO EXTERNAL DEPENDENCIES
3
Mods cannot require judges to have external games, mods, or map packs downloaded. This applies to all mods. While P2:CE entries can support add-ons, all external mounts must be packed.
KEEP IT PG-13
4
If your mod has severe themes, nudity, content warnings, or copyrighted material, it may not be safe for our streamers to play. Make sure we can actually judge your mod effectively.
NO CROSS-TEAMING
5
Stay loyal to your team! While a part of the competition, you may not contribute to any other competition mods. Mods outside of the competition are fair game, but you cannot collaborate with competitors.
NO EXTENSIONS
6
This competition is already 4 months long - the longest one hosted yet. Due to its length, there will be no extensions to the due date. It will end on the specified date and there will be no extensions for any reason.
BE NICE
7
We shouldn't have to tell you this, but harassment, hate speech, or aggression between or within teams is absolutely prohibited. Doing so may result in the entire team being disqualified.
HIRING EXTERNALLY
8
Voice actors, writers, and playtesters - no other developer types or skillsets - can be found outside of your team. All other work must be done internally, within the constraints of the team members.
PLAYABILITY
9
The mod has to be entirely playable start to finish. No forcing players to load maps through the console. Every map you and your team want to be seen should be accessible by pressing "PLAY".
Puzzles and maps may not be made before teams are decided on May 1st. All puzzles and maps must be made specifically during the competition. Previously-made custom models, assets, and textures, however, are allowed.
10
PRE-MADE ASSETS
Dropping out of the competition leaves your team at a severe and heavy disadvantage. If you have to drop out, try to leave a replacement behind, or collaborate with your Team Lead to find a good solution.

ABOUT DROPPING OUT...
CONSEQUENCES
