Hello everyone!
Applications for Summer Mod Jam are just about to close - in about 2 days! Now’s your chance to apply if you haven’t already.
Due to the very imminent closure of the applications, there are a few things the judging team wanted to mention:
Your application guarantees nothing but your placement. Regardless of whether you ticked "yes" to being a mod lead, or listed Portal 2 as your only applicable branch, these are not guaranteed. We will do our absolute best to set you up exactly how you wish, however! The exception to this rule is the "who I don't want to work with" section, which we are always guaranteed to follow.
Teams are going to be changed to have 6 to 8 members, depending on what the final count is. This fixes a lot of problems we currently have with team setups, but most of all allows for an easier work flow for every team. More people = less work.
Need to reapply to fix/change something? Now is your chance. Once applications close they are set in stone. If you need to change something, simply resubmit on the website.
If you do not get mod lead, please still contribute to your team. We've had to mangle the teams this competition to make sure everyone gets a spot, so regardless of what you get, please give the competition your best! By applying to SMJ you agree to these terms.
You can withdraw your application at any time before the deadline. Afraid you can't commit/won't have the time/scared you won't be put on a good team? Just ping or DM me on Discord (@ashleyanna) or reach out to admin@summermodjam.com and we can remove you from the list!
